As a high school English teacher, I also found that chat GPT really likes the word interplay. Throughout my previous nine years of teaching, I don't think I've ever seen a high school student use that word, but suddenly I had four of them use it this year. When I called them out on it, they confirmed my suspicion. They used chatGPT to write their essays.

(And on a related note, Chat GPT also doesn't know how to format certain types of paragraphs or titles correctly. It consistently does it wrong.)
